The Marriage Course
1st May 2025, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pmThe (hybrid) Marriage Course at BCV
The Marriage Course is for any married couple who want to strengthen their relationship. Over seven sessions, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime.
What’s a ‘hybrid’ course?
We realise that it is difficult for couples to attend seven sessions in person, so we are offering three in-person sessions, with links to the videos for the remaining four, so that you can do those sessions in your own home.
What can you expect on the in-person evenings?
- An evening together. With drinks, dessert, and candlelight, you’ll have a chance to unwind and connect as you consider the Marriage Course material.
- Watch an episode: Over the course of the evening, you’ll watch and discuss a video episode, exploring a different topic through real experiences, expert insights, and relevant teaching.
- Topics include things like ‘communicating well’, ‘the impact of family,’ and ‘learning better ways to resolve conflict.’
- Talk privately at your own table (no group-work!): You’ll have space for private, honest, and open conversations throughout each session.
When: We will meet 7.30-9.30 in person, on three Thursday evenings. Session one on 1st May, session four on 22nd May, and the final session on 12th June. Sessions 2, 3, 5 and 6 will be done at home.
Where: Cavehill building & in your own home
Cost: £15 per couple
